In a profoundly impressive cricketing spectacle that will be etched in the cricket history, the West Indies achieved a historic win in the second Test against Australia at the Gabba on a memorable Sunday. The clash showcased a gripping battle between both teams, with the visitors ultimately emerging victorious with an eight-wicket win over Australia in a thrilling encounter.

Rookie bowler Shamar Joseph returned with seven scalps to spoil Australia's chase which was being anchored by veteran Steve Smith who saw the fall of wickets around him, leading to Australia’s disappointing defeat.

Australia were in the pursuit of 216, which newest opener Steve Smith led from the front with his unbeaten 91 but he searched for the support from other end that he couldn't find as West Indies outmanoeuvred Australia to register a historic win.

West Indies, who had never beaten Australia in Australia since 1997, rose to pull off a remarkable win with the help of young Shamar Jospeh who has impressed everyone with his marvellous spell.
