Defending champions England will be kicking off their T20I World Cup campaign by taking on Scotland in their first game of the ongoing T20I World Cup 2024 on Tuesday at Kensington Oval, Bridgetown, Barbados. The encounter will be very crucial for England as they will be eager to make a strong opening statement. England lifted the title during the last edition of the tournament as they would hope to go on with the same rhythm. 

England will be hopeful of greater results heading into the T20I World Cup as they endured a suffocating campaign at the ODI World Cup 2023 in October-November.
