Gus Atkinson withdrawn England squad for Australia ODIs, Ollie Stone enters as replacement

In order to manage his workload, England have withdrawn their fast bowler Gus Atkinson from the upcoming ODI series against Australia later this month. Ollie Stone has been named as his replacement. England will be hosting Australia in a five-match ODI series, starting on September 19.
Earlier, Atkinson was named in England’s squad, but looking at the upcoming Test assignments, England have decided to rest him. England will travel to Pakistan later in September for a three-match Test series, then they will head to New Zealand for another three-match Test series.
England are already without Mark Wood, who has been ruled out for the rest of the summer. As far as Ollie Stone’s ODI performance is concerned, he has played eight ODIs and claimed as many wickets.
