Jos Buttler ruled out of West Indies ODIs, Liam Livingstone to lead

England captain Jos Buttler has been ruled out of the upcoming ODI series against West Indies due to a calf injury. This setback comes as a significant blow to his return to the competitive cricket.
Buttler, who has been a pivotal figure in the squad, will now be sidelined as the team prepares for the series, starting next week, under the leadership of Liam Livingstone. In Buttler’s absence, Liam Livingstone has been named the team’s skipper.
Following the injury, Jos Buttler has been away from competitive cricket since the T20I World Cup in June. He missed the T20I and ODI series against Australia as well.
