Fakhar Zaman returns as Pakistan reveal Champions Trophy squad

Pakistan have named their squad for the upcoming Champions Trophy, with explosive batter Fakhar Zaman making his return to the team. Faheem Ashraf also marks his return to the side since last playing international cricket in 2023. Khushdil Shah, Saud Shakeel and Abrar Ahmed have also been included in the squad. 

Young star Saim Ayub is unavailable due to an ankle injury he picked up during the South Africa Test. Mohammad Rizwan will lead the side in the presence of stalwarts Babar Azam, Shaheen Shah Afridi and Haris Rauf

Meanwhile, the same squad will play in the tri-series against South Africa and New Zealand in the lead-up to the Champions Trophy.
