MS Dhoni inducted into the ICC Hall of Fame

Legendary Indian wicketkeeper-batter MS Dhoni has been inducted into the ICC Hall of Fame ahead of the World Test Championship (WTC) Final between Australia and South Africa, becoming the 11th Indian player to be recognised for his exceptional contributions to the game. Dhoni represented India in 90 Tests, 350 ODIs, and 98 T20Is, scoring 4,876, 10,773, and 1,617 runs, respectively.
Dhoni’s calm demeanor and consistent performances earned him respect and admiration worldwide. He is the only captain to win all three ICC white-ball trophies - ODI World Cup, T20I World Cup and the Champions Trophy.
"It is an honour to be named in the ICC Hall of Fame, which recognises the contributions of cricketers across generations and from all over the world. To have your name remembered alongside such all-time greats is a wonderful feeling. It is something that I will cherish forever," Dhoni said.
Dhoni has hit 16 centuries and 108 fifties across formats in international cricket. As a wicketkeeper, he has inflicted 829 dismissals. Dhoni was instrumental in India’s World Cup triumph in 2011, hitting the winning runs and remaining unbeaten on 91.
