ICC confirms schedule for Men's T20 World Cup 2026, fixtures, venues

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has unveiled the full schedule for the 2026 Men’s T20 World Cup. The much-anticipated 10th edition of the tournament is set to begin on February 7, 2026, and will run through to its grand finale on March 8, 2026. The 20-team tournament, co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka, will have a month-long carnival of explosive cricket. 

The tournament will be held across eight stadiums in India and Sri Lanka. India - Narendra Modi Stadium (Ahmedabad), MA Chidambaram Stadium (Chennai), Arun Jaitley Stadium (New Delhi), Wankhede Stadium (Mumbai), Eden Gardens (Kolkata). Sri Lanka - R. Premadasa Stadium (Colombo), Sinhalese Sports Club (Colombo), Pallekele International Cricket Stadium (Kandy).

India, Pakistan, USA, Netherlands, and Namibia have been placed in Group A. Group B features Sri Lanka, Australia, Ireland, Zimbabwe, and Oman. Meanwhile, England, West Indies, Bangladesh, Nepal, and Italy have been placed in Group C. While Group D will have New Zealand, South Africa, Afghanistan, Canada, and the UAE. The high-profile clash between India and Pakistan is scheduled for February 15 at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. It will be the first meeting between India and Pakistan since their three intense encounters at the 2025 Asia Cup.
