ENG vs NZ 4th ODI: England muster confidence with series win against New Zealand

England wrapped up their four-match ODI series against New Zealand on positive note as they won the fourth and final ODI by (100) runs to win the series by 3-1 on Friday at The Lord’s. This is the biggest win for England in the build up to the upcoming ODI World Cup merely a month away. Looking at the match, England had won the toss and decided to bat with Dawid Malan coming to rescue the team with his century-filled knock of (127). With Malan's knock, England handed the total of (311) to New Zealand. England’s top order batters once again failed to make their mark with Jonny Bairstow and Joe Root losing their wickets quite early.
New Zealand, in their chase, witnessed the unexpected with top batters getting back to pavilion quite cheaply. Will Young and Devon Conway failed to give the team much-needed start with their scores of (24) and (7). Daryl Mitchell (4) and Tom Latham (13) could not go on which put pressure on middle-order batters. Rachin Ravindra did some scoring with his (61) but after his wicket New Zealand could not get back into the game while getting bowled out for (211).
