CPL 2023 Qualifier 2: Jamaica Tallawahs to fight it out against Guyana Amazon Warriors

As the final leg of the CPL nears, Jamaica Tallawahs will take on Guyana Amazon Warriors in the qualifier 2 of the ongoing Caribbean Premier League on Friday (4:30 AM IST, Saturday) at Providence Stadium, Guyana. Jamaica Tallawahs moved to the qualifier 2 with the victory against Saint Lucia Kings in the eliminator. Alex Hales, Brandon King and Shamarh Brooks have been one of the biggest factors in their success so far. Imad Wasim, Mohammad Amir and Nicholson Gordon have been wonderful in bowling department. Jamaica Tallawahs are on the fourth position in the points table with 9 points and the positive NRR of +0.788.
On the other hand, Guyana Amazon Warriors are topping the points table with 17 points and the positive NRR of +1.725. Out of ten matches, they have won eight matches. They lost one match while one match ended in no result for them. Guyana Amazon Warriors beat Trinbago Knight Riders in the qualifier one to move to the qualifier 2 of the tournament. Shai Hope, Odean Smith and Saim Ayub will be crucial for Guyana Amazon Warriors.
