David Warner’s 100th T20I appearance came against West Indies wherein Australia won the first T20I by 11 runs on Friday with the outstanding contribution from David Warner belting out a whirlwind 70. David Warner also became the first Australian player to represent the counter 100 times in all formats of the game. This was David Warner’s first T20I appearance since the T20I World Cup 2022.
Recently, David Warner announced his retirement from Tests and ODIs, but he continues to prove himself time and time again in T20Is. Warner also became the first ever player to notch up 100 half-centuries in T20Is. Warner continues to unleash his trademark aggressive batting, giving Australia a solid hope building up to the T20I World Cup in June.
