Prabhsimran Singh was, meanwhile run out by Sunil Narine, but that didn’t affect their chase, with Rilee Rossouw chipping in with 26 off 16. But, the most astonishing contribution came from in-form Shashank Singh, who bludgeoned (68) unbeaten off (28) deliveries, featuring a multitude of eight sixes and two fours. Jonny Bairstow not being in his best elements in previous games, showed his worth with bat, muscling nine sixes and eight boundaries.
Kolkata Knight Riders, inserted to bat, unleashed a relentless assault on the PBKS bowlers, with their top order firing on all cylinders.
