India to travel to Australia to play multi-format women’s A series

In what is being seen as a massive boost in their preparations for the upcoming T20I World Cup, India Women will be travelling to Australia for the multi-format Women’s ‘A’ series in Queensland. The multi-format series will involve three T20s, three ODIs and a four-day red-ball game. Australia also announced A squads for the series.

Tahlia McGrath will be captaining Australia’s T20I and One Day squad, while Charli Knott will be leading Australia in a four-day red-ball match.

First and second T20I will be held on August 7 and August 9 respectively, while third T20I will be played on August 11. ODIs, on the other hand, will be held on August 14, 16 and 18 respectively. Four-day red-ball game will be played from August 22-25 at Gold Coast District Cricket Club.                    

T20 squad: Maddy Darke, Sophie Day, Nicole Faltum (wk), Tess Flintoff, Kim Garth, Charli Knott (vc), Katie Mack, Tahlia McGrath (c), Grace Parsons, Megan Schutt, Courtney Sippel, Tayla Vlaeminck, Tahlia Wilson
