SCO vs AUS 2nd T20I: Josh Inglis guides Australia to series win with blistering ton

A stellar century from Josh Inglis (103 off 49) saw Australia secure an unassailable 2-0 lead in their three-match T20I series against Scotland after a commanding victory in the second T20I game on Friday at The Grange Club. Inglis’s quickest T20I century for Australia helped the side put up an impressive total of 196/4 in 20 overs. Scotland's response fell short as they were bowled out for just 126 runs, giving Australia a decisive win and an unassailable lead in the series.
Asked to bat first, Australia set the tone for the match with a robust performance. The standout performer remained Inglis in the batting order, playing an innings that provided the backbone for Australia's total. Australia's middle order in the form of Cameron Green (36) and Marcus Stoinis (20*) also contributed valuable runs, pushing the team's score to 196.
In response, Scotland faced a challenging task, and their innings never gained momentum, with Australian all-rounder Marcus Stoinis taking four crucial wickets. Despite the best efforts from Brandon McMullen, smashing 59 off 42, Scotland fell short by 70 runs.
