IPL 2025: DC look for momentum as SRH search for much-needed win

The ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 has already had hail-biting encounters, and the upcoming match between Delhi Capitals and Sunrisers Hyderabad, set to be played on Sunday in Visakhapatnam, will be another exciting showdown.
Delhi Capitals head into this match with their spirits high, having secured a hard-fought victory in their previous outing against LSG. In their chase of 209, DC resuscitated themselves from 66 for 5 to go past LSG’s total with three balls to spare on the back of a heroic knock from Ashutosh Sharma, scoring 66 unbeaten off 31.
DC will look to build on their momentum and continue their winning run. They will rely on both their batters and bowlers to step up and deliver once again. Having played only one match so far, the Capitals will aim to maintain their winning streak and hope for a second win in a row. Meanwhile, DC will be boosted by the return of KL Rahul.
On the other hand, Sunrisers Hyderabad will be looking to bounce back after a disappointing defeat in their last match. The loss has put them under pressure, and they will be eager to get back to winning ways to stay competitive in the tournament. On paper, SRH have a strong batting lineup, but against DC they will have to be careful given the availability of seasoned bowlers Mitchell Starc and Kuldeep Yadav.
Overall, Delhi Capitals will look to use their momentum from the win to keep Sunrisers Hyderabad at bay, while SRH will be hungry for a victory to get their campaign back on track.
