Pakistan women's cricket team will not travel to India to participate in the upcoming Women’s ODI World Cup later this year. Instead, they will play their matches at a neutral venue, confirmed Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Mohsin Naqvi. The decision comes following the hybrid model that was accepted earlier this year. According to the agreement, it was agreed upon that India and Pakistan will play their matches at neutral venues if one of the two countries was to host an ICC event till 2027.

Recently, when Pakistan hosted the Champions Trophy, India didn’t travel to Pakistan due to political issues; instead, they played their matches in Dubai.

"Just like India didn't play in Pakistan in the Champions Trophy and were allowed to play at a neutral venue, whatever venue is decided, we will play. When there is an agreement it has to be adhered to,” Naqvi said as per PTI.

India will host the Women’s ODI World Cup from September 29 to October 26.
