Australia, West Indies reveal playing XI for 1st Test

Australia have revealed their playing XI for the first Test against West Indies, starting June 25 in Barbados. Sam Konstas has made his return to the side and will open the innings for Australia alongside Usman Khawaja. Cameron Green will be continuing at No. 3. Josh Inglis has also been added to the side and will bat at No. 4. Australia’s bowling attack will have the familiar faces – Pat Cummins (c), Mitchell Starc, Nathan Lyon, and Josh Hazlewood. 

West Indies, on the other hand, have also announced their playing XI for the first Test against Australia. Brandon King is set to make his Test debut while Shai Hope returns to the team after three years. He last played for West Indies in a Test back in 2021.
