Jitesh Sharma to lead India A in Rising Stars Asia Cup

Indian wicketkeeper-batter Jitesh Sharma is slated to lead India A in the Rising Stars Asia Cup set to be held from November 14 to November 23 in Qatar. Naman Dhir has been named his deputy. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced a 15-member squad that also features the likes of Priyansh Arya, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, Nehal Wadhera and Ramandeep Singh.
Five standby players have also been named: Gurnoor Singh Brar, Kumar Kushagra, Tanush Kotian, Sameer Rizvi and Shaik Rasheed. Meanwhile, India A have been placed in Group B alongside Pakistan A, UAE, and Oman, and will kick off their campaign on November 14 against UAE.
