John Campbell recalled as West Indies name ODI squad

West Indies have announced their squad for the upcoming three-match ODI series against New Zealand, scheduled from 16 to 21 November. Opener John Campbell, who last played an ODI six years ago, returns to the side after strong performances in domestic and Test cricket.

Pace-bowling all-rounder Shamar Springer and fast bowler Johann Layne have earned maiden ODI call-ups. Matthew Forde also returns to the side. Notably, Brandon King has been left out of the series following a dip in his form.

Shai Hope will lead the squad that features the likes of Alick Athanaze, Ackeem Auguste, Matthew Forde, Justin Greaves and Amir Jangoo.
