Delhi Capitals’ fast bowler Nandani Sharma created history in the Women’s Premier League (WPL), becoming the first Indian fast bowler to claim a hat-trick in the tournament, delivering a breathtaking performance against Gujarat Giants in Navi Mumbai on Sunday. She ripped through the Gujarat Giants’ batting line-up to finish with outstanding figures of 5 for 33.
With her magnificent performance, she joined an elite group of bowlers to have achieved a WPL hat-trick. Her victims were Kanika Ahuja, Rajeshwari Gayakwad and Renuka Singh.
