The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the central contracts for the 2025–26 season, covering the period from October 1, 2025, to September 30, 2026. Young batter Shubman Gill, who has taken over as India’s Test and ODI captain, has earned a maiden promotion to Grade A. He joins an elite group that includes pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah and all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja, both of whom have retained their places in Grade A.

On the women’s side, Smriti Mandhana, Harmanpreet Kaur, and Deepti Sharma have all retained their places in the Grade A category. Meanwhile, Jemimah Rodrigues has been promoted to Grade A following a standout year. She was also instrumental in India’s victorius campaign at the Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025.
