Following a remarkably stunning campaign at the T20 World Cup 2026, Indian wicketkeeper-batter Ishan Kishan has moved to second place in the T20I rankings for batters. Kishan’s memorable campaign saw him accumulate 317 runs, including three half-centuries, making him one of the standout performers of the tournament. Kishan now sits four points behind India’s batting star Abhishek Sharma, who continues to hold the No. 1 position in the T20I batting rankings.

Abhishek Sharma maintained his dominance following a breathtaking performance in the T20 World Cup final against New Zealand, where he smashed a blistering 18-ball half-century. New Zealand wicketkeeper-batter Tim Seifert climbed to sixth place, marking a career-best ranking after delivering important performances for his side. England’s promising young batter Jacob Bethell also made a major leap, rising to 16th place in the rankings. Finn Allen moved up to 20th, while India’s Sanju Samson climbed to 22nd.

Indian all-rounder Shivam Dube also rose to 27th. In the bowlers' rankings, Varun Chakravarthy slipped from the No. 1 spot in the T20I bowling rankings. That top position has been reclaimed by Afghanistan’s star leg-spinner Rashid Khan. Meanwhile, England’s veteran spinner Adil Rashid surged to fourth place after an outstanding campaign in which he claimed 13 wickets.

India’s pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah also made notable progress, rising to sixth place after finishing with 14 wickets during the competition. Indian all-rounder Axar Patel also moved up to 17th among T20I bowlers. In the all-rounders' rankings, Zimbabwe captain Sikandar Raza continues to hold the top position.
