England reveal action-packed schedule for 2027 home summer
The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has announced an action-packed schedule for the 2027 home summer, with England's men's and women's teams set to face Australia in concurrent multi-format Ashes series. The home summer will begin with a five-match ODI series against Pakistan starting on May 15.
Following which, the side will host Bangladesh in a one-off Test, starting on 28 May. The Test against Bangladesh will be their only Test match ahead of the Ashes that starts on 18 June at Trent Bridge. On the other hand, England Women's multi-format Ashes campaign will be kicked off with a one-off Test against Australia at Headingley from June 24.
Then they will shift their attention to a three-match T20I series, to be played on July 3, 6 and 9 at Trent Bridge, The Kia Oval and Emirates Old Trafford, respectively. The multi-format Women's Ashes will be capped off with three ODIs, scheduled for July 13, 16 and 20 at Southampton, Lord's and Edgbaston.
