Sri Lanka women cruised to a comprehensive series win by pushing aside Pakistan women in the third ODI by eight wickets on Tuesday at Sooriyawewa International Cricket Stadium. Asked to bat, Pakistan were bundled out for 187 in 40 overs following a decent performance by Sri Lanka bowlers.

Chamari Athapaththu, Kavisha Dilhari, and Chethana Vimukthi returned with three wickets each to leave Pakistan searching for answers. However, crucial knocks from Gull Feroza (40) and Fatima Sana (41) helped Pakistan recovery from early blows and post a somewhat respectable total. Muneeba Ali and Najiha Alvi also made major contributions of (34) and (30), respectively.

Chasing the target, Sri Lanka were off to a solid start despite losing Vishmi Gunaratne early. Captain Chamari Athapaththu (52 off 38) kept the side on top, blazing a destructive half-century. In the middle order, statement performances from Harshitha Samarawickrama and Hasini Perera, who remained unbeaten on (71) and 50, respectively, guided the side to victory in 37.2 overs.
