Australia reveal playing XI for opening Test against Bangladesh, Scott Boland misses out

Australia have confirmed their playing XI for the first Test against Bangladesh, with the trio of Pat Cummins, Josh Hazlewood and Mitchell Starc making their return to the side. The comeback is hugely significant for Pat Cummins and Josh Hazlewood, who return to action after missing a large part of Ashes due to back and leg setbacks, respectively.
Veteran pacer Scott Boland has not been named in the squad, while Nathan Lyon, who misses the Ashes Tests, comes back to the side. Jake Weatherland and Travis Head will once again open the batting for the team.
The line-up also features familiar faces in Marnus Labuschagne, Steve Smith, Cameron Green, Alex Carey, and Beau Webster. The first Test between Australia and Bangladesh begins on Thursday at Marrara Stadium.
