Josh Hazlewood reaches 300 Test wickets

Josh Hazlewood has become only the ninth Australian bowler to reach the milestone of 300 Test wickets. He claimed the landmark achievement during Australia's ongoing first Test against Bangladesh in Darwin on Saturday. Hazlewood got to the record in memorable fashion, claiming his 14th five-wicket haul in Test cricket.
His 300th wicket came shortly after lunch on the third day, when Bangladesh all-rounder Mehidy Hasan was caught behind, allowing Hazlewood to enter Australia's exclusive 300-wicket club. He is now part of an extraordinary quartet alongside Nathan Lyon, Pat Cummins, and Mitchell Starc.
All four of them have surpassed 300 Test wickets, making Australia's current bowling unit unique in Test history. No other Test attack has featured four bowlers who have each reached the 300-wicket mark while playing together.
