Pakistan to host Sri Lanka and England in ODI tri-series

Pakistan will host Sri Lanka and England for an ODI tri-series in October, with the series giving all sides an opportunity to fine-tune their preparations for next year’s ODI World Cup. The series will get underway on October 18, when Pakistan take on Sri Lanka in the opening match.
Matches are set to be held across Rawalpindi and Lahore. Before the ODI tri-series, Pakistan and Sri Lanka will meet in a three-match T20I series. The T20I series is scheduled to played from October 9 to 13, with all three matches set to take place in Rawalpindi.
Meanwhile, following the tri-series, Pakistan and Sri Lanka will also face each other in a two-Test ICC World Test Championship series. Both teams will also play a three-day match in Islamabad from November 4 to 6. The opening Test is scheduled to begin on November 9 in Rawalpindi, before action shifts to Lahore for the second and final match. The second match will begin on November 17.
