Litton Das to lead Bangladesh at Asian Games 2026
Bangladesh have named a formidable 15-member squad for the 2026 Asian Games, with experienced batter Litton Das set to lead the side. The squad features a few familiar faces who were absent from Bangladesh’s recent July series against Zimbabwe, including captain Litton and senior batter Najmul Hossain Shanto.
Bangladesh will once again be confident of delivering powerful performance following a positive campaign during the previous edition. At the last edition, Bangladesh had a notable campaign, claiming the bronze medal. Sri Lanka finished with silver, while India took the gold.
The tournament, which will be played from September 24 to October 3, will also feature teams like India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Afghanistan, among others.
