The stage is set for the second ODI between Australia Women and South Africa Women scheduled to take place on Wednesday at North Sydney Oval. After a convincing victory in the first ODI, Australia find themselves in a dominant position, leading the three-match series 1-0.

In the opening encounter of the series, Australia showcased their brilliance by registering a commanding 8-wicket win over South Africa. In the first game, Australia bowled out South Africa for (105) after putting them to bat. Alana King and Kim Garth had shone in the bowling department with their impressive spell.

The highest score for South Africa was scored by Marizanne Kapp who scored half-century but was retired hurt. Australia, in their chase, reached the target in (19) overs with Beth Mooney scoring (52) unbeaten.

South Africa will be determined to stage their comeback to level the series at 1-1. Australia, meanwhile, would expect their players to remain in rhythm to rock to the series-clinching victory.
