Jamaica Kingsmen will be facing Guyana Amazon Warriors in the Qualifier 2 of the ongoing Caribbean Premier League 2026 on Friday (Saturday - 4:30 AM IST) at Kensington Oval. With a place in the final on the line, it is a do-or-die battle for Amazon Warriors, as there will be no second chances for them to address their mistakes after failing to perform up to the expectations in the Qualifier 1, where they went down to the Antigua and Barbuda Falcons in the Qualifier 1.

In the match against Antigua and Barbuda Falcons, Amazon Warriors endured a calamitous outing after they were folded for 76 in 15 overs. On the other hand, Jamaica Kingsmen are oozing out confidence after demolishing Barbados Tridents in the Eliminator.

They have demonstrated tremendous determination and consistency, which will be a big threat to Amazon Warriors heading into the Qualifier 2. Meanwhile, Amazon Warriors would hope for an improved performance from their experienced players like Shai Hope, Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Shimron Hetmyer, Glenn Phillips and Romario Shepherd.
