AUS vs WI 3rd T20I: Disheartened West Indies look to sign off their tour on a positive note

Already high on confidence with their unassailable 2-0 series lead, Australia will be clashing with West Indies in the third and final T20I on Tuesday, at Optus Stadium. Australia hold a commanding 2-0 lead after they secured their 34-run victory in the second game on the back of a wondrous knock played by Glenn Maxwell scoring 120* from 55 balls that he faced.

In both the games, Australia came with stellar performances from their top-order batsmen to post formidable totals which became utterly impossible for West Indies players to achieve. In the first game, David Warner gave the impetus to the team with his 70-run knock. In the second game, intensity was same but the player was different in the form of Glenn Maxwell to help Australia assert their dominance. Australia would look forward to completing their second series sweep against West Indies after having done so in ODIs.

Leading up to the third game, Australia have also added Jake Fraser-Mcgurk and Wes Agar to the squad. Both could be in line to make their debuts.

On the other hand, West Indies, despite putting their best efforts forward, have struggled to maintain consistency throughout the last two games. Their batting lineup, featuring explosive hitters - Nicholas Pooran, Rovman Powell, Brandon King and Johnson Charles - has failed to fire collectively, resulting in their saddening defeats.

Moreover, their bowlers have struggled to contain the potent Australian batting lineup, putting immense pressure on their own batsmen to come out strongly in their batting attack. Heading into the third game, West Indies will aim to close out their Australia tour on a productive note.

Australia Probable XI: David Warner, Jake Fraser-Mcgurk, Mitchell Marsh (c), Glenn Maxwell, Marcus Stoinis, Tim David, Matthew Wade (wk), Adam Zampa, Spencer Johnson, Jason Behrendorff, Wes Agar

West Indies Probable XI: Brandon King, Johnson Charles, Nicholas Pooran (wk), Shai Hope, Rovman Powell (c), Sherfane Rutherford, Andre Russell, Jason Holder, Romario Shepherd, Akeal Hosein, Alzarri Joseph
