In a must-win encounter, Pakistan are preparing to face England in the third T20I of the ongoing four-match series, scheduled to be played on Tuesday at Sophia Gardens, Wales. England are currently leading the series 1-0 after a commanding victory in the second T20I. The first match had been washed out due to rain.

England showcased their prowess in the second T20I, winning the game by 23 runs and delivering a performance that underscored their strength ahead of the T20I World Cup where they are the defending champions. Skipper Jos Buttler, in particular was brilliant, playing an 84-run knock. Their bowlers were also impressive, with Jofra Archer, Moeen Ali and Reece Topley making a greater impact.

On the other hand, for Pakistan, the third T20I is a chance to bounce back and level the series. Despite the setback in the second game, Pakistan would hope to come out stronger as they fought hard in the second game. Babar Azam and Fakhar Zaman were the top-scorers for Pakistan in the second game after their other batters failed to score.  Heading into the third game, Pakistan will hope to bring stability and expect their batters and bowlers to come up with match-winning performances.
