"I was very bored": Arshdeep shares the thought behind starting YouTube channel

Indian left-arm pacer Arshdeep Singh has revealed a personal reason that prompted him to launch his YouTube channel. Despite performing up to expectations, Arshdeep Singh found himself out of the playing XI during the Champions Trophy earlier this year in Dubai as India decided to field four spinners.
Arshdeep revealed that rather than dwelling on the disappointment of being left out of the XI, he used the free time to start his YouTube channel and do something creative. He noted that his decision to create content turned out to be a blessing in disguise.
"When I got to know that I wouldn’t be playing in the first game of the Champions Trophy, I was very bored in my room, and that’s when I started my YouTube channel. It turned out to be a blessing in disguise," Arshdeep told JioHotstar.
Arshdeep emphasised that he always looks for positives in every situation, even if professional opportunities don't go his way.
"I always try to find something positive. Sometimes you just have to be grateful that you are playing at this level. You also have to wait for your chances, and when you get an opportunity, make sure you make the most of it," he added.
