Women’s Asia Cup 2024, semi-final 2: Sri Lanka Women to fight it out against Pakistan Women

In the second semi-final of the ongoing Women’s Asia Cup 2024, Sri Lanka Women will be battling it out against Pakistan Women on Friday at Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium, Dambulla. Both teams have made their ways into the semi-final of the tournament on the back of strong performances in the group stages. 

Sri Lanka Women advanced to the Semi-Final 2 after beating Thailand Women in the 12th match of the tournament. While, Pakistan Women thrashed United Arab Emirates Women by 10 wickets in the 9th match of the tournament to advance to the Semi-Final of the tournament. 

In the standings, Sri Lanka are leading the points table in Group B, sitting atop with three victories out of their three games. They remain unbeaten with 6 points and a positive NRR of +3.988. Pakistan, on the other hand, are on the second position in the points table with two victories out of their three outings. They have suffered a defeat that came against arch-rival India.
