The much-anticipated tenth season of the Pakistan Super League is all set to kick off on April 11, 2025, bringing a wave of excitement. This year, however, there is a new layer of intrigue surrounding the tournament, as it clashes with the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL). The 2025 season of PSL, featuring six teams, will run from April 11 to May 18. This year, the PSL will be played across four cities, Karachi, Lahore, Multan, and Rawalpindi.

All six teams - Peshawar Zalmi, Multan Sultan, Lahore Qalandars, Karachi Kings, Quetta Gladiators and Islamabad United, will compete in a double round-robin format. A total of 34 matches, including playoffs, will be played in the tournament, with the top four teams after the league phase advancing to the playoffs. Defending champions Islamabad United will take on Lahore Qalandars in the opening match of the tournament on Friday at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, Rawalpindi.

Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore will be hosting 13 matches, including both eliminators and the final. And Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium will host 11 matches, including the qualifier. While National Bank Stadium, Karachi, and Multan Cricket Stadium will host five matches each.
