Gus Atkinson ruled out of West Indies ODIs
England have suffered a major blow ahead of the three-match ODI series against West Indies, with Gus Atkinson being ruled out of the series with a hamstring injury. Atkinson sustained the injury during England’s One-Off Test match against Zimbabwe recently.
This is a second major blow to England’s bowling arsenal after Jofra Archer was ruled out of the series earlier. England will not announce any replacement for Atkinson.
Meanwhile, the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) stated that, “He will now undergo a period of rehabilitation under the supervision of the England medical team’.
