Shuchi Upadhyay out of England tour, Radha Yadav called in as replacement

Radha Yadav has been named as a replacement for injured Shuchi Upadhyay for India Women’s upcoming white-ball tour of England. A left shin injury has ruled Shuchi out of the tour. 

“The Women’s Selection Committee has named Radha Yadav as a replacement for Shuchi Upadhyay in Team India’s squads for the England tour,” the BCCI said in a release. 

“Shuchi was ruled out of the tour after sustaining a left shin injury, which was diagnosed during the pre-tour camp at the BCCI Centre of Excellence (COE) in Bengaluru,” the release further stated. 

On their tour of England, India women will play five T20Is and four ODIs.
