In her absence, veteran batter Tammy Beaumont will lead the side in the third match, set to be played on Friday at The Oval. According to ECB, “Results of the scan will determine whether Sciver-Brunt is required to miss any more games in the series, with the fourth Vitality IT20 due to take place on Wednesday 9 July at Emirates Old Trafford.”

England have added top-order batter Maia Bouchier to the squad as a cover for the third T20I. As of now, India are leading the five-match series 2-0 after claiming comfortable wins in the first two games.
