Pakistan make late changes to white-ball squads, drop Hasan Nawaz from upcoming assignment

In a late shake-up to their white-ball squads, Pakistan have dropped young batter Hasan Nawaz from both their ODI and T20I squads for the upcoming white-ball series against Sri Lanka and the T20I tri-nation series that also features Zimbabwe. No replacement has been named for him in the ODI setup, and Pakistan have recalled Fakhar Zaman to the T20I squad in Nawaz’s place.
Hasan Nawaz will instead turn up to play in the ongoing Quaid-e-Azam Trophy. Lately, Nawaz has endured a difficult run of form, including five ducks in his first ten T20I innings, and has struggled for consistency in both formats. In the recently concluded ODI series, he could muster only 45 runs across three innings. Meanwhile, Pakistan will host Sri Lanka in the first ODI on Tuesday in Rawalpindi.
