Bangladesh's veteran batter Mushfiqur Rahim has accomplished a landmark achievement by scoring a century in his 100th Test match. With the century, Rahim joined a group of players who have scored a century in their 100th Test match. By taking the field for his 100th Test match, Mushfiqur became the first-ever Bangladeshi player to reach the milestone.

Showing unwavering commitment, Mushfiqur notched up his 13th Test hundred. Facing Ireland in the ongoing second Test at Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium, Mushfiqur produced a masterful innings under pressure, compiling a valiant 106 off 214 deliveries.

Rahim joined the likes of Joe Root, David Warner, Graeme Smith, Ricky Ponting, Javed Miandad, Gordon Greenidge and Hashim Amla, among others, to score a century in the 100th Test.
