Titas Sadhu ruled out of WPL with Injury, Jintimani Kalita called as replacement
Gujarat Giants' young pacer Titas Sadhu has been ruled out of the ongoing Women's Premier League (WPL) tournament due to injury. The franchise has announced seam-bowling all-rounder Jintimani Kalita as her replacement.
Sadhu, who has been a promising star, was acquired by the Giants for INR 30 lakh at the mega auction held in November. However, the right-arm pacer did not feature in any matches during the 2026 WPL season, with fitness concerns once again interrupting her campaign.
Her career has been repeatedly disrupted by injuries. So far, she has represented India in eight ODIs and 12 T20Is. Her last appearance for India was in the three-match ODI series against Ireland in Rajkot in January 2025.
