Australia call uncapped duo for One-Off Test against India

Australia have named two fresh faces in their squad for the upcoming one-off Test against India in Perth, handing maiden call-ups to Rachel Trenaman and Maitlan Brown. The uncapped pair join a 13-player group for the four-day contest, which begins on March 6 at the historic WACA Ground.
Their inclusion comes amid a series of injury concerns that have crippled Australia's squad ahead of the red-ball clash with India. Veteran all-rounder Ellyse Perry remains in doubt as she continues to manage a quad issue. Compounding the challenge, key pace bowler Kim Garth has already been ruled out due to injury.
Meanwhile, regular skipper Sophie Molineux will also miss the match because of a back concern. In her absence, wicketkeeper-batter Alyssa Healy will once again take the reins. The Test will mark Healy’s final international appearance before retirement.
Australia Test squad: Alyssa Healy (c), Darcie Brown, Maitlan Brown, Ashleigh Gardner, Lucy Hamilton, Alana King, Phoebe Litchfield, Beth Mooney, Tahlia McGrath, Ellyse Perry, Annabel Sutherland, Georgia Voll, Georgia Wareham
