Rwanda is set to host the inaugural Women’s Challenge Trophy, beginning on April 18 in Kigali. The opening day will see the host taking on Italy in the first match, followed by Nepal facing the United States later in the day.

The tournament will run through May 1 and will feature 20 matches scheduled across ten match days. Alongside Rwanda, Italy, Nepal, and the USA, the participating teams include Vanuatu and other emerging sides, all aiming to make their mark on the international stage. The Women’s Challenge Trophy provides valuable international match experience to sides that are still building their presence in the global game.

All teams confirmed their spots based on their performances in the 2025 regional Women’s T20 World Cup Qualifiers.
