Riding on a masterclass century from Virat Kohli, Royal Challengers Bengaluru registered a commanding six-wicket victory over Kolkata Knight Riders on Wednesday in Raipur. The superstar batter remained unbeaten on 105 off 60 and played a match-winning knock that helped RCB successfully chase down a challenging target of 193 in 19.1 overs.

Kohli, who entered the match on the back of two successive ducks, looked in complete control from the very beginning, playing some astonishing shots. During his knock, he smacked 11 boundaries and three sixes. Devdutt Padikkal also played an important supporting role with a valuable 39 runs.

Earlier, KKR posted a competitive total of 192/4 after being asked to bat. Young batter Angkrish Raghuvanshi impressed with a stylish innings of 71. He anchored the batting after the early dismissals of Ajinkya Rahane and Finn Allen, who scored 19 and 18 respectively. Raghuvanshi first built a crucial 68-run partnership with Cameron Green, who scored a useful 32 runs. He later combined with Rinku Singh in an excellent 76-run stand for the fourth wicket. Rinku remained unbeaten on 49.
