Zimbabwe to host Bangladesh in multi-format series

Zimbabwe Cricket has unveiled an action-packed schedule for the upcoming multi-format series against Bangladesh at home. The all-format assignment, featuring One-Off Test, three ODIs and three T20Is, will be played in June and July. The series will be kicked off with the One-Off Test, scheduled to be played from 28 June to 2 July at Harare Sports Club.
The ODIs will also be played in Harare on 6, 9 and 11 July respectively. Later, the attention will shift to the three-match T20I series, to be held at Queens Sports Club on 15, 17 and 19 July respectively. Bangladesh’s last visit to Zimbabwe came in July and August 2022, when the hosts produced an imperious performances to win both the T20I and ODI series 2-1 at Harare Sports Club.
Most recently, both sides faced each other in a two-match Test series in Bangladesh in 2025, where the series was levelled 1-1 after Zimbabwe clinched a magnificent three-wicket victory in the opening match. However, Bangladesh bounced back strongly to seal a 106-run win in the second game to level the series.
“We are delighted to confirm Bangladesh’s tour of Zimbabwe for what we expect to be a highly competitive and exciting series across all formats,” Zimbabwe Cricket Managing Director Givemore Makoni said.
“This tour is hugely significant for us as it marks the return of top-level international cricket to our home venues following the team’s outstanding performances at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup earlier this year.
“Our supporters have every reason to be proud of what we have achieved in recent months and we are looking forward to seeing fans once again rally behind the team in Harare and Bulawayo.”
