England pacer Ollie Robinson out of 2nd Test against New Zealand
Ahead of the second Test against New Zealand, England have been dealt a crushing after fast bowler Ollie Robinson was ruled out due to a knee issue. The development is a big setback for the hosts, given Robinson’s outstanding performance in the opening match of the series. The Sussex seamer enjoyed a dream return to international cricket at Lord’s, playing a crucial role in England’s convincing 115-run victory.
He claimed three wickets in a brilliant maiden over during New Zealand’s innings. Overall, Robinson took seven wickets, including a superb five-wicket haul in the first innings. Meanwhile, England have drafted in fellow Sussex pace bowler Henry Crocombe as cover.
