Nat Sciver-Brunt confirms return ahead of high-stakes game against South Africa

England, who are already high on confidence, have further been consolidated with the confirmation that their captain, Nat Sciver-Brunt, is set to return from injury for a high-stakes clash against South Africa on Thursday in the semi-final 2 of the Women's T20I World Cup.
The experienced all-rounder was on the sidelines due to a calf injury that saw her miss England's group-stage matches against Scotland, West Indies and New Zealand. Despite her being absent, England have been uncontrollable, registering five wins from five matches.
"Yeah, absolutely. I've been put through my recovery paces. I worked very hard to get myself to this position. The sports science and medicine team have too. Really, really happy to be sat here," Sciver-Brunt said at the press conference.
"We've tested it enough to be comfortable. What will happen out on the pitch will happen. I'm really happy with where I am at physically," she said.
In her absence, Charlie Dean led the side, and to replace Sciver-Brunt, England brought Sophia Dunkley. Now Dunkley is the most likely to be left out, but Sciver-Brunt refrained from revealing the details.
"I won't say until tomorrow at the toss, but our team has been really successful, and lots of different people have stood up. Someone's going to be really disappointed tomorrow, but yeah, I suppose that just shows what a great position we are in as a side that so many different people have put their hands up. But sadly someone has to miss out," she stated.
