Shivam Dube replaces injured Reddy in India's squad for England ODIs

Indian all-rounder Shivam Dube has been added to India's squad for the upcoming three-match ODI series against England, replacing injured Nitish Kumar Reddy. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) confirmed that Dube, currently playing the ongoing five-match T20I series against England, will continue to remain with the side. Reddy had picked up the injury during the third ODI against Afghanistan in Chennai.
“The Selection Committee has named Shivam Dube as a replacement for Nitish Kumar Reddy in India’s squad for the ODI series against England,” the BCCI said in a statement.
As for Dube, he has featured in four ODIs for India, scoring 43 runs and taking one wicket. He last appeared for India in an ODI against Sri Lanka in Colombo in August 2024. The ODI series between India and England begins on July 14 at Edgbaston. The second ODI will be played in Cardiff on July 16, while Lord’s will stage the final ODI on July 19.
