Anushka Sharma to lead India A in T20s against Australia A, Yastika Bhatia to captain in ODIs and multi-day game
India A women are set to play crucial home matches against Australia A, with the selectors handing Anushka Sharma the responsibility of leading the side in the T20 format. Yastika Bhatia, meanwhile, will take charge of the one-day and multi-day teams.
Anushka heads into the Australia A series with valuable recent experience. She guided India A to a 2-1 T20 series victory over England A in June. She will also serve as Bhatia's deputy in both the one-day and four-day matches. Former India Under-19 captain Niki Prasad, who has been included across all three formats. The tour will begin on September 12 and will feature three T20s, three One-Day matches and a four-day multi-day game.
