Harleen Deol joins Barbados Tridents for remainder of WCPL 2026

India batter Harleen Deol has joined defending champions Barbados Tridents for the remainder of the Women's Caribbean Premier League (WCPL), earning a valuable opportunity to demonstrate her skills. She now becomes the team's fifth overseas player for the tournament.

The development comes following Deol’s absence from India’s senior and A squads. Deol carries franchise cricket experience as well, having featured in Women's Premier League (WPL). AT WPL, she has represented both Gujarat Giants and UP Warriorz. In 28 WPL appearances, she has amassed 649 runs at a strike rate of 115.68.

For India, Deol has played 28 T20Is, firing 311 runs in 20 innings. Barbados Tridents kicked off their campaign with a 21-run win over Trinbago Knight Riders. They will next face Jamaica Empress Women in the fifth match of the tournament on Sunday.
