Australia Women defeated Bangladesh Women by eight wickets in the third ODI at Allan Border Field on October 14, 2026, to take a 3-0 lead in the series. After winning the toss, Australia elected to bowl first and bowled Bangladesh out for 172 runs in 19.5 overs. In reply, Australia chased down the target comfortably and finished at 175/2 in 22.4 overs, with Ellyse Perry and Annabel Sutherland playing brilliant unbeaten innings. The victory highlighted Australia's strong performance with both bat and ball, while Bangladesh struggled to put up a challenging total.

Bangladesh Women had a difficult start after being asked to bat first. Openers Murshida Khatun and Sharmin Sultana were dismissed early, putting pressure on the middle order. However, Sharmin Akhter and Shorna Akter helped Bangladesh recover with important half-centuries. Sharmin Akhter scored 50 runs off 93 balls, while Shorna Akter contributed 54 runs off 71 deliveries. Both batters tried to rebuild the innings and give their team a respectable total. Bangladesh debutant Disha Biswas added 13 runs to the total. She also made an impact with the ball by dismissing Australian batter Beth Mooney during the chase. Despite the contributions from Sharmin Akhter and Shorna Akter, Bangladesh could not maintain their momentum and were bowled out for 172 in 19.5 overs.

Australia's bowlers played a crucial role in restricting Bangladesh to a low total. Megan Schutt was named the Player of the Match for the 3rd ODI, taking four wickets and putting the Bangladesh batters under pressure. Australia Women made a steady start to their chase. Georgia Voll scored 11 runs, while Beth Mooney contributed 21 before being dismissed by Disha Biswas. However, the early wickets did not cause much trouble for Australia, as Ellyse Perry and Annabel Sutherland took control of the innings.

Perry remained unbeaten on 65 runs off 64 balls, playing a composed innings and keeping the chase on track. At the other end, Sutherland delivered an impressive performance, scoring an unbeaten 74 off just 52 balls at a strike rate of 142.31. Their partnership ensured that Australia reached the target comfortably with eight wickets in hand. With this victory, Australia Women have taken a 3-0 lead in the ODI series against Bangladesh Women.
